About The Numbers Rafting Experiences on the Arkansas River

Full Day Tours

As an American Adventure Expeditions exclusive, you’ll start your adventure paddling through the majestic Browns Canyon National Monument. It’s the perfect way to warm up, with some awesome Class III rapids and epic Colorado scenery. At the conclusion of the morning portion you’ll be treated to a delicious BBQ lunch prepared by your guides and served in our riverside Beer Garden.

Once you’ve refueled, it’s back to the river and time for the white-knuckle roller coaster that is The Numbers! Non-stop action from start to finish is waiting for you on this fast, narrow, and technical stretch of whitewater. This is the ultimate rafting adventure in the Buena Vista area!

Half Day Tours

The Numbers rafting section is one of the most difficult sections of commercially rafted river in Colorado. Although this section winds its way through an awesome high alpine setting, you’ll probably be too busy paddling to even notice! This section is narrow, rocky, and technical with relentless drops and continuous white water!

What an Adventure!

The view was beautiful. The rapids were so much fun. The guide we had Chad was the best. He will never forget Big B(Buzz) and the new name he got from him. Chad was the best. We were with my parents and aunt and uncle all over the age of 80 then it was me and my husband. Chad was funny and a lot of fun. Thank you Chad for taking care of our group!
